Ledger
This is how he sits on the couch most of the time.
I have decided to tell you all about our 1 & only son Ledger. He is half Boxer & half Bull Mastiff. We got him back in August of 08 & he was a little over 9 weeks old & weighed 17 lbs. He is a little over 2 years old now & weighs right at 185 lbs. Yes, we named him after the late Heath Ledger (we got him not long after he passed away). He is has been one of the if not the best the dog I have ever had. He is so great with the girls. He potty trained really easily & has never been much trouble except for one time. We left him locked in our bedroom by mistake one day when we went to work & it just happened to storm real bad that day. He tore up the carpet & wall trying to get out of the room. Can’t blame him…that was our fault. The only other thing he is goofy about is that he will eat
ANYTHING…lol…I mean anything. He loves dryer sheets, paper towels, pony tail holders, socks…you get the picture. I even caught him one time in the garage trying to eat a thumb tack. To be as big as he is…he really is sweet & loves anybody that comes over. He will bark & raise hell at anybody walking or driving down the street, but once you come in the house he’s your buddy. So many of our friends love him & always ask if they can have him. Some often ask how he is when we see them or talk to them. Believe it or not…he sleeps in the bed with us…I usually get stuck in the middle. Good thing we have a king size bed. We love him to death & I thought I would share this & some funny pics of him over him growing up.

Love that dog! One of mine (much smaller lol) sit on the couch like that, we call it ‘sloppy sit’. Thanks for sharing!

Yes Noob…he is pretty awesome. I have had many dogs in my almost 42 years & have all been great dogs, but he sure has been great, sweet, alot of personality, & so much fun to be around. Thanks so much for stopping by.

I love this dog, so cool! Just like a person sitting there all comfy next to dad. And such an adorable face he has! What’s a few dryer sheets and socks compared to all the happiness i’m sure he brings your family:)

Too funny. Ledger and my Jaxon could be brothers.. such similiar personalities. Jaxon terrorizes the kids walking down the alley before and after school running up and down the fence barking at them. But if they came close enough he would tackle them and lick them to death. He also will eat anything. He has eaten paper, plastic, flip flops, spark plugs, and even a pair of my eye glasses that I took off and layed on the edge of the bed. His favorite thing to chew on is an empty water bottle, he loves the crunching sound and then is bored with it once he manages to get the cap off. Thanks for sharing Ledger with us !!
