Yall Knew I Wouldn’t Go Through With It
Ok, a little while back I posted about trying to get in shape with our XBOX Kinect. Here is my update to it. I’m not gonna do it….lol. I have never enjoyed working out…it bores the crap out of me. I love playing XBOX, but the games I mostly like on this Kinect (that we have anyway) are golf, bowling, & darts. You only have to use your arms on them so it might be tough to get in shape. There are some fun games besides that we have but they do take alot of energy. Track n Field…you really have to run in place to make your person run. Same thing with baseball…if you don’t hit a homerun, you have to run to first base. It’s great if you want to do what I said…I’m just not into it. I made the post hoping it would make me stick to it, but I would rather throw some darts, bowl, or shoot a 6 under in golf & drink my beer. Sorry, it has taken me so long to update you on nothing. Fantasy Sports
A good friend tried to get me to play fantasy football back 6 or 7 years ago…he said come on man..it’s only like $25.00 to play & you could win more. I kept telling him no because I didn’t even know what it was. Then, the season after that I was watching the Fox Pre-Game Show & the first hour was about nothing but fantasy football…it said they had a league for free & to come play. So, I checked it out. You could either join a “public” league or create your own. I decided to make my own & sent out invites to a bunch of friends. It went crazy from there. We had so much fun with it, once football was over…we didn’t want to wait for next year so we started trying other fantasy sports. Hell, we ended up playing golf, NASCAR, baseball & basketball. All of those only lasted one season & then we got back to football. Had a real good league going for like 4 seasons, then it just kinda fell apart. It’s kind tough when you put the league together because you have to invite friends of yours that don’t know some of the other guys & that can cause some trouble…smack talk & some guys kinda stretching the rules & people get mad & then I have to try to calm everbody down. I love it & have so much fun. Really missed it & we missed getting a football league going this year so I have decided to start up another basketball league…it was alotta fun last time we played. We are having our “live draft” on Oct. the 2nd. The “live draft” is part of it that is the most fun. You have everybody get together somewhere…drink some beer & see what players everybody gets. It’s just like watching a pro draft on tv. Everybody is on the clock to make thier pick. It’s really fun, if you haven’t tried playing…you should get into a league or start one. Til next time peeps…
